A burning bush in front of the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna attracted the attention of many passers-by around 9 p.m. on Saturday. How the fire started has not yet been clarified. The investigation is ongoing. A “Krone” reader reporter was on the scene – footage shows the flames.
For anyone walking along the Burgring late Saturday evening, the flames in front of the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna could hardly be overlooked. The blazing flames were not completely harmless, certainly not to passers-by. In any case, pedestrians were still walking the streets at the time of the video recording. A cyclist also drove past the burning bushes.
A short time later, however, the Vienna fire brigade was already on site and was able to quickly extinguish the fire with their emergency services. Not much was left of the bush. The good news: there were no injuries.
