The Business Confederation of Commerce of Bizkaia, Cecobi, has signed an agreement with the unanimity of all unions, the collective agreement of General Trade of Bizkaia for the years 2023-2026, which establishes for 2023 an update of 8% of the salary of 2018, the last year in which the agreement was updated. An increase of 4%, 3.5% and 2.5% has been agreed for 2024, 2025 and 2026, as well as a reduction in the working day of 12 hours between 2024 and 2026.
Cecobi, the Confederation of Commerce and the trade union organizations ELA, LAB, UGT and CC reported this in a statement. OO. They signed the collective agreement of the General Trade of Bizkaia this Friday.
The main novelties of the agreement establish a temporal scope covering the years 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026, with the economic regime distinguishing the year 2023 from the period 2024-2026.
In this sense, the Biscay Business Federation has recalled that the collective agreement has not been updated since 2018. Therefore, the agreement for the year 2023 includes an update of the salary table for the year 2018, taking into account for this purpose the variation in the CPI from December of that year to December 2023, which is expected to be approximately 18% amounts.
