After the terrible bloody act in Bad Leonfelde in Upper Austria a week ago, the murder victim will be buried next Saturday in his hometown of Schwertberg. Meanwhile, there appears to be some confusion about the suspect’s legal representation.
“We pray for Steffi on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at the parish church in Schwertberg. We will gather for the funeral service on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 10 a.m. in the parish church in Schwertberg.
As reported, the girl was killed on February 12 in Sternsteinwald in Bad Leonfelden. The alleged perpetrator, an allegedly mentally ill 18-year-old from Mühlviertel, is detained in the closed institution.
Lawyer grotesque about suspects
Incidentally, the murder suspect already has his third lawyer. At first a well-known lawyer from Linz took over his legal representation, but then surprisingly his mandate was withdrawn and a “competitor” took over the case. But short-lived, because the expelled lawyer complained, whereupon the Linz regional court made a clean sweep, fired the second lawyer and appointed a new public defender.
