It is estimated that the plant produces approx 3,880 tons of green hydrogen per year, approximately 90% of which is expected to be used for the consumption of the area’s main energy-intensive industries, such as paper, glass, steel, food and automobiles, as well as by Plug customers in the areas of material handling, stationary energy and road mobility applications, contributing to the decarbonisation and reduction of CO2 emissions. The remaining 10% would go to the transport sector through the installation of a hydrogen at the same location.
