Between 10:50 pm and 1:50 am, a 58-year-old man from Hohenems informed two acquaintances via WhatsApp that he was going to shoot himself with a gun. The man also described the possibility of being shot by police officers. The acquaintances then alerted the police.
The negotiating team was successful
This immediately moved to Walther-von-der-Vogelweide-Straße with several stripes. The police negotiating team contacted the 58-year-old. The negotiators finally managed to get the man to open the door of the apartment. Cobra task force officials secured the site.
confusion and pain
Since the man appeared clearly confused and complained of severe pain, he was taken to a doctor. The weapon, a CO2 gun, had been secured. Fortunately, no one was injured during the official act.
