It is always tragic to hear what sometimes goes on behind closed doors. So Wednesday in Vienna-Florisdorf: There a 22-year-old man was hospitalized by his father (53) because he and his brother got into a fight with him. The father was arrested.
It was around 7:40 p.m. when officers from the police command of the city of Floridsdorf were alerted. A 53-year-old Pole is said to have pushed and hit one of the two against the wall during an argument with his sons. The injured person was treated on the spot by the Viennese professional rescue service and taken to a hospital.
Father was heavily drunk during the argument
Meanwhile, the suspect threatened the police officers and tried to beat them – he was arrested. It also turned out that the man was heavily drunk when he committed the crime – he had 3.2 promille in his blood. Subsequently, an entry and approach ban and a provisional ban on weapons were issued against the father. The 53-year-old appears to have made a partial confession and was taken to a prison by order of the Vienna public prosecutor’s office.
