Speaking on state television channel Rossiya 1, Putin said he was convinced that all leading NATO countries had declared their main goal to inflict strategic defeat on Moscow – with the aim of making the Russian people suffer. Therefore, under no circumstances can one ignore the nuclear capabilities of the military alliance. After all, the West wants to liquidate Russia, according to the Kremlin boss.
“There should be no more Russians”
“They have one goal: to dissolve the former Soviet Union and its essential part – the Russian Federation”, the Russian news agency “Tass” quoted the president as the West can only absorb parts of Russia into the so-called ‘family of civilized peoples’ ‘ and then can bring every part under his control.
