The animal rescuers received the emergency call shortly before 07:00. They rushed to the scene as quickly as possible, got an overview and did not hesitate: together with the construction worker, the helpers cut the iron bar and put the cat in the rescue vehicle.
“All organs intact”
In an Anifer veterinary clinic, the all-clear could be given quickly. “The rod injured the muscle tissue, but all organs remained intact,” says Krone when asked. The four-legged friend underwent surgery on Tuesday and is recovering from the injuries together with his owner.
