A retired teacher has beaten and psychologically abused his adopted daughter from India for years. The former teacher, who was characterized by observers as a “Catholic hardliner”, even took the defenseless child to an exorcist. For the first time, the Burgenlander had to answer to the court in Eisenstadt in May 2022 – where he denied all allegations. Further hearings followed. On Tuesday, the pensioner was back in the dock and was heavily charged by two former teachers of his now adult adoptive daughter.
The school made a “danger report” to the Youth Care Agency
“Andrea (name changed) was not allowed to have any friends and was not allowed to go anywhere,” said the girl’s former class teacher. A counselor stated that Andrea had told her about physical and mental abuse from both parents since 2005 (the adoptive mother has since passed away). The 65-year-old beat and locked her up and kept telling her she was “devil possessed” – the school reported a risk to the Youth Care Agency. In the end, there were, not legally binding, nine months probation – for a child’s soul destroyed…
