Strong gusts of wind in Burgenland caused, among other things, some broken trees and a loose roof. The fire brigade was alerted for several operations on Saturday, fortunately no one was injured.
The gusts of wind have also led to firefighting operations in Burgenland. According to the state security center, however, it remained within manageable limits, especially fallen trees and loose roof tiles had to be removed.

In St. Margarethen a tree in the cemetery snapped and fell on a grave. At the former Hotel Burgenland in Eisenstadt, an outdoor roller blind was torn from its anchorage by the storm. The city fire department then removed them.

In Winden am See, the Florianis had to secure a zinc roof that was about to come loose. Near the Neusiedl am See train station, parts of the roof of an operational building were removed and spilled onto the rails. An approaching train was able to stop in time.

In Neusiedl, too, the wind damaged the photovoltaic system of a large bakery. In Jois, a fallen wall had to be removed by the Florianis.
