19 year old killed with a snow pole! Now the psychiatric report on Samuel Z. – also 19 years old – is ready. And there is insight into the psyche of the Mühlviertler, who apparently came up with a diagnosis and lived by it. The forecast for the future: gloomy!
Dangerous! This is how court psychiatrist Adelheid Kastner described Samuel Z. in the report, who allegedly murdered his companion Stefanie R. (19) from Schwertberg with a snow pole in Bad Leonfelden. And, what is even more explosive: “According to the report, the suspect is not schizophrenic and never has been,” says Ulrike Breiteneder of the Linz public prosecutor’s office. But that is exactly what Samuel Z., who celebrated his 19th birthday in the detention center, has always wanted his family, the detectives and the prosecutor to believe. “That’s why he also takes pills,” the mother had reported to “Krone”.
But Samuel probably came up with this diagnosis and also “lived it”, at least gladly and reported it to everyone. And also as the reason why he gave up his apprenticeship as a mechanic after he left his first apprenticeship and went on extended sick leave from the AMS.
It is proven that he had an anxiety disorder before the crime, but not schizophrenia. “According to the report, the suspect is sane,” Breiteneder said. The prosecutor’s office has already submitted a request to transfer the Mühlviertler, who lived in the victim’s neighboring town, from the forensic department of the NeuromedCampus in Linz to normal custody.
Given the report, it is likely that the prosecution will also request admission to an institution for mentally deviant offenders, dubbed “criminal placement in a forensic therapeutic center” since March 1. Because the psychiatrist does not have an optimistic future for Samuel: he has a narcissistic personality disorder. It is feared that he may again commit serious crimes in the future.
At home he was inconspicuous
Samuel Z., who was not violent at home with his mother and grandmother, was a ticking time bomb that exploded on the night of February 12. Trigger: His companion, whom he had known for about three weeks, did not want to return to Sternstein after visiting a Czech casino after a stopover on his way home to win back the lost €100. The argument in the car – Zoff had also been in the casino – escalated, Stefanie wanted to flee, but the car got stuck in a pile of snow. Samuel, presumed innocent, confessed to killing and abandoning her. He repaired the car’s broken mirror the next day and confessed to his brother, who called the police.
