Shortly after 9 a.m., a 56-year-old woman from Graz was riding her bicycle on the tram track in a westerly direction near the Iron Gates. According to testimonies, the woman may have overlooked a tram heading towards Jakominiplatz.
Woman lost consciousness after collision
The 56-year-old hit the front wheel and then hit her head against the tram. After that, she may have lost consciousness for a short time. She was taken to Graz Regional Hospital by the Red Cross with unknown injuries.
There was no damage to the tram. The bike was slightly damaged.
