House invaded – nurse in Tyrol shouted burglars to flee

Unknown burglars got into mischief on Thursday evening in Volders in the Tyrolean district of Innsbruck-Land. After the perpetrators broke into a pensioner’s home, they were caught by a nurse. The Romanian woman started to scream loudly, after which the crooks fled through the back door.

Around 9 p.m., the burglars entered the apartment building in Volders by forcing the balcony door. “After the 24-hour nurse heard noises in the corridor and checked whether everything was okay, the 56-year-old found the perpetrators,” the police said.

When the woman started screaming loudly, the intruders escaped through the back door of the house. “Immediate searches were unfortunately unsuccessful,” the detectives continued.

Police are hoping for clues
It is not yet clear whether anything was stolen during the burglary. Police are now hoping for witnesses.
