A St. Veiter in Carinthia was hit by a car on Sunday morning. Fortunately, the driver of the accident car was a paramedic and was able to quickly provide first aid to the victims.
Shortly before 5:30 a.m., the 27-year-old paramedic was driving his private car on Ossiacher Straße when suddenly a pedestrian entered the road in the open-air area of Glanegg. The 27-year-old could no longer avoid and caught the pedestrian. As it turned out after the accident, the victim was a drunk 37-year-old from St. Veiter.
Ambulance personnel quickly provided assistance
Immediately after the accident, 27-year-old St. Veiter, who was seriously injured in the collision, helped. After the first medical aid, the emergency services had to take the 37-year-old to the accident hospital.
