This Thursday they made the first day to protest against the honor that almost all employees of both plants will dismiss. On Friday they will make a two -hour strike.
The employees of Arcelor Mittal of the Agurain (Álava) and Legasa (Navarra) factories have accompanied the first day of strike against the labor regulation file (honor) that the termination of almost all contracts will be. The Ela Union described the day as a “total success” and emphasized that “production is completely paralyzed”.
The honor that the company has presented means the dismissal of 33 employees in the center of Agurain, whose workforce is 38 people, and 40 more in Legasa, which has a workforce of 45 people.
Ela has denounced the performance of the company because “in addition to removing the negotiation of the affected work centers, the removal of minimal offensive services has set up, with the argument that they are an important sector.”
During the battle day on Thursday, Legasa employees concentrated for the company’s headquarters in Berriplano.
On Friday, the template will make a new unemployment, which starts at 1 p.m. And lasts until 3 p.m. in both plants.
