In Graz, another case of manipulation during a driver’s license test has been discovered: a 25-year-old, equipped with technical aids, was caught attempting to cheat.
The 25-year-old from the Bruck-Mürzzuschlag district is said to have taken his theory exam with a hidden mini camera in the sleeve of his T-shirt and mini earphones. With the help of the professional espionage equipment, a hitherto unknown perpetrator is said to have ‘told’ the answers. The exam leader learned of the fraud and caught the 25-year-old in the act.
computer manipulated
A similar case occurred in December 2022. However, no technical aids were used in this “cheat campaign”, but an extended hand was immediately applied. The computers at the driving school were manipulated even before the driver’s license was taken. Remote access to the devices was no longer a problem. A 35-year-old Grazer was reported using this “aid”.

Further investigations are now underway to identify the perpetrators. Since autumn 2020, the officers of the Graz-Karlauerstrasse police station have been able to report more than 90 of the same criminal offenses involving about 100 suspects.
