At least three children died on Monday after a shooting at a private school in Nashville, US, a spokesperson for Vanderbilt University Medical Center hospital told NBC News.
The attacker also died in a confrontation with the officers, the Nashville police write on its Twitter account.
The minors were taken to the health center alive with gunshot wounds and died shortly afterwards, hospital spokesman John Howser told US media.
The shooting took place at the school. Covenant Schoolwhich, according to the website, serves students from kindergarten to sixth grade, i.e. about 11 years old.
