Wild scenes in otherwise picturesque Gmunden. A motorist (24) fled from the police and could only be stopped after a chase. It didn’t help that he didn’t have a driver’s license.
A Gmunden police patrol spotted the already known 24-year-old from the Gmunden district driving a car around 3 p.m. on Sunday, although he does not have a driver’s license. When he noticed the police officers, he tried to flee. In doing so, he committed several traffic offenses in the town of Gmunden.
110 km/h instead of 40
He also did not respond to the officers’ stop signals and drove at 110 km/h in a 40 km/h limit. Due to the wet road and the excessive speed, the car eventually left the road. It collided with a garden fence and a house wall and came to rest in the garden.
Drug test declined
The man then behaved aggressively and only calmed down after he was promised arrest. He eventually admitted that he did not have a driver’s license and refused the voluntary drug test and clinical examination. A total of 16 administrative violations have been reported to the BH Gmunden.
