A bike ride on the evening of Easter Sunday ended with a shock for a 38-year-old from Klagenfurt. Suddenly a masked man stood in front of him and stopped the cyclist.
“The 38-year-old from Klagenfurt was on a bike path along the Glan around 8.15 p.m. when he was arrested,” the police said. “When he stopped, two unknown men came up from behind, held a knife to the man’s back and demanded money.” The 38-year-old then handed over several hundred euros to the robbers, who then fled.
“A search was immediately launched by all patrols of the police command of the city of Klagenfurt and the Cobra task force,” the police continued. However, this search was unsuccessful and there is still no trace of the perpetrators – investigations to clarify the crime have been launched. Fortunately, the 38-year-old from Klagenfurt was not injured.
