A cruel case of animal abuse occurred during the Easter holidays in Carinthia’s Lavant Valley. A cat was seriously injured.
According to the police, the incident may have happened between Easter Monday and Easter Monday. In the community of St. Andrä, previously unknown perpetrators shot and killed a cat with a bow and arrow. “According to testimonies, the animal was injured in the hind leg. Part of the arrow got stuck in the cat’s body,” said a police officer.
Kat fled into the woods
After the brutal attack, the cat fled into the woods. Unfortunately, so far she could not be caught and therefore not treated. The investigation into the animal abusers is still ongoing.
