Reminiscent of IS terror – Video supposed to show beheading of Ukrainians

Date:

Numerous videos of war crimes in Ukraine have surfaced. But recently posted footage, probably shot last summer, shows incredible brutality and inhumanity. The highly distorted images seem to show how a Ukrainian prisoner of war is beheaded with a hunting knife.

The recordings are very distorted. The authenticity of the video, which was circulated on Twitter and on pro-Russian Telegram channels, has not yet been confirmed. At the beginning of the video, a voice can be heard saying that the victim’s head will likely be cut off while still alive.

In addition to this video, another, probably more up-to-date video was released last week, which is said to have been made in the hotly contested city of Bakhmut. This shows the decapitated bodies of several suspected Ukrainian soldiers next to a destroyed armored vehicle. According to the CNN news channel, a fighter of the Wagner mercenary group sounds: “The vehicle was destroyed by a mine. And they were killed. Someone cut their heads off.”

Kiev: “There will be an answer to everything”
Immediately after the videos became known, Andriy Yermak, head of the Kiev Presidential Office, emphasized on his Twitter page: “There will be an answer to everything.” Execution Video”. In turn, pro-Russian channels said the Ukrainian side was behind the videos. The reason for the crimes is that they want to “disguise the identity of the soldiers”.
