Last year alone, 120 million euros was left to charity in Austria in a will, a historic record. Vienna in particular stands out – even if you deduct the only record €25 million that a Viennese entrepreneur donated last year to the Institute of Science and Technology Austria in Klosterneuburg. 22 percent of the Vienna consider at least doing well with their estate – in all of Austria this is only 16 percent.
