The Innsbruck Kripo managed to stop young criminals: two girls and a boy between the ages of 14 and 16 allegedly blackmailed and robbed several schoolchildren in the Tyrolean capital. Twelve victims have been identified so far. The 14-year-old suspect is in custody.
Their victims are only between 11 and 13 years old. In February and March, the suspicious trio allegedly blackmailed and robbed students in the city of Innsbruck. According to the detectives, smaller amounts of cash and clothing were stolen, among other things. “A total of twelve victims have been identified so far.”
The alleged perpetrators are two girls – an Austrian (16) and a Chechen (14) – and a 14-year-old Syrian. “After extensive investigations by agents of the criminal division of the police command of the city of Innsbruck, the suspects were identified and arrested with the support of the rapid intervention group,” the investigators continued.
Syrian is now behind bars
The 14-year-old Syrian has been taken to Innsbruck prison on the order of the public prosecutor. The two girls were set free. Further investigations are underway.
