A 26-year-old man from the Klagenfurt-Land district assaulted his mother while under the influence of alcohol. Out of fear, the woman called the police, who had to arrest the man.
Because his mother did not want to drive him to Klagenfurt, the 26-year-old, who is already known to the authorities for several violent crimes, went into complete panic on Monday morning. “He violently pushed his mother back several times to enforce his demands,” police said.
Arrested in son’s room
Fearing that the 26-year-old would also attack his father, the man’s mother called the police. The agents were able to arrest the 26-year-old in his room.
After consultation with the public prosecutor’s office, the 26-year-old was transferred to the prison in Klagenfurt. An entry and approach ban has also been issued against the man.
