The call affects some 3,000 employees at Hego Euskal Herria; 2,400 in the BAC and 600 in Navarra. The strike, with a double call —ELA and LAB on the one hand, and CC.00. and CSIF, which also meets at the state level, comes after two days of partial strikes, which unions say have had an average follow-up of 60%.
In the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country (cav) and convened by ELA and LAB, a demonstration will depart from the headquarters of the Basque government in Bilbao at noon. The union federations demand that the salary and pension conditions be aligned with those of the staff of the General Administration of the Basque Autonomous Community (CAV). According to unions, the first two days of partial strikes had an average follow-up rate of 60% in the Basque Country. A percentage that the Regional Administration dropped to 23.4%.
