The shock should be deep for a homeowner (69) in the Tyrolean Götzens (Innsbruck-Land): As is now known, two unknown perpetrators broke into her house last Friday, tied the woman up and robbed numerous valuables worth a five-digit euro amount. Then they left the pensioner tied up. The police ask for information.
Around 4:30 p.m., the two men rang the doorbell of the local residents. They were exposed and did not carry any weapons. When the 69-year-old opened the door, the two crowded into the apartment. The woman didn’t stand a chance, the intruders tied her to a chair with tape. While one perpetrator guarded her, the other searched the apartment.
The robbers stole money, jewelery and mobile phones
According to the police, the two perpetrators stayed in the apartment for a long time. They stole money, jewelry and two mobile phones – their total value is a five-figure euro amount. The two men fled, leaving their victim tied to the chair.
The 69-year-old was only able to free herself from her cuffs around 6:15 p.m. The elderly woman suffered minor injuries to both arms from the tape, but did not seek medical attention. Instead, the woman informed a relative and they reported the incident to the police the next day.
The police are looking for witnesses
Detectives are now asking witnesses for help in finding the two perpetrators. Information can be obtained from the magazine service of the LKA Tyrol (059133 70333). Both men were described as Southern types.
- The first man is about 45 years old, 180 centimeters tall with brown eyes and a well-groomed appearance. He wore dark hair and a light beard, as well as tight dark jeans, a blue sweater, dark sneakers and gloves. Striking: one of the man’s incisors broke off and he spoke German and Italian.
- The man’s accomplice is also around 45 years old. He would be about 165 centimeters tall, have a belly and have been unkempt. The man was wearing a long coat, hat and gloves.
