The fire brigade of Lustenau in Vorarlberg received a disturbing alarm on Thursday afternoon: a fire had broken out in the boys’ toilet of the high school in Kirchdorf. It later emerged that a 13-year-old had set fire to the towel dispenser. Fortunately no one was injured.
The fire in the restroom on the second floor of the high school was discovered just before 3 p.m. For safety reasons, the school management evacuated all students from the building before the fire brigade arrived. The Floriani disciples quickly extinguished the fire, but there was significant material damage.
