The Maxim in Steyr has been looking for a new driver since the beginning of this year. Although many potential operators flirted with taking over Austria’s oldest brothel, a serious successor with a coherent operating concept was not yet there.
That is why there are already plans to convert the historic walls into chic apartments or simple student residences. “A non-traditional rededication of the property is not possible,” thought Andreas Peneder.
