On Wednesday there was a bloody crime in a social facility in Elsbethen in Salzburg, which “Krone” reported. There is now new information about the incident: the two victims are no longer in mortal danger.
The perpetrator, a 28-year-old from Salzburg, entered the institution in Glasenbach on Wednesday afternoon. While walking, he met two counselors (aged 46 and 57) and engaged in a brief altercation. The two would only have asked the man to leave the building. Soon after, the assailant pulled out a knife, attacked the older of the two employees and injured his stomach. Together the victims tried to hold the man, the suspect was able to injure the 46-year-old with the knife in the chest area.

The attacker then fled the crime scene and turned himself in to the police station in Glasenbach. He allowed himself to be arrested by the police without resistance. When questioned, he confessed, but said he had no intention of killing. As a motive for his act, he stated that he held a grudge against the facility.
The two victims were injured and taken to hospital. According to medical information, your life is not in danger.
