Wild scenes must have played out in Innsbruck-Hötting on Saturday evening. Three strangers attacked a 25-year-old local man and punched him in the face. He had to be taken to hospital for further examination.
At around 9:15 p.m., the 25-year-old was on a municipal road in Innsbruck-Hötting. There it should have come to a dispute with three initially unknown men. Moments later, fists were already flying around. The victim suffered serious injuries. He had, among other things, a slightly bleeding tear above his left eye and complained of pain in the hip and cervical spine.
Manhunt fails, police are looking for witnesses
He was taken to hospital by paramedics after first aid. An immediate search for the perpetrators has so far yielded nothing. According to the police, one of the three perpetrators is probably a man of Asian descent who wore a jogging suit.
