One 69-year-old courier passed away in this morning Hernani (Gipuzkoa) run over by a truck, in what is the second fatal occupational accident known today — a construction worker has died in Ondarroa (Bizkaia) —.
According to the municipal police of Hernani, the fatal accident happened at 09:00, near the Wastepaper basket Gipuzkoa from Zikunaga (Eizago industrial estate), in the area intended for loading and unloading. Apparently the operator was waiting to load wood when he was run over by another heavy vehicle.
Crews from the local police, Ertzaintza and Osalan technicians, who are investigating the accident, have arrived at the scene.
