A 74-year-old man was killed in a head-on collision between a car and a tractor in Lower Austria on Tuesday evening. Police said the man left the road and collided with another vehicle.
The man ended up in the oncoming lane with his car just before the municipality of Wörth (sub-municipality of Neunkirchen) for unknown reasons. There, the car collided head-on with an oncoming tractor, the police reported Wednesday morning.
The 74-year-old driver of the car suffered fatal injuries. The 23-year-old tractor driver suffered undetermined injuries and was taken to Neunkirchen State Hospital by the ambulance service.
