The nine finalists of the “Golden Note” by initiator and presenter Leona König have been determined: And the public vote for the ORF TV gala (on June 2, 8:15 p.m., ORF 2) has been taking place since April 24. The music competition honors Austria’s most outstanding young talents in the string and wind instrument categories. You can vote online for the audience award HERE!
This year, for the seventh time, the “Gouden Noot” of the Young Talent Classic Incentive Award will be awarded to exceptional talent.
Wind instruments will also be strongly represented this time. The very talented young musicians want to do their part so that one of them can win. “The level is extremely high,” says König about the stars of tomorrow.
Johannes Doppler (16) from Salzburg plays trumpet, as does 13-year-old Simon Pruckner from Lower Austria. The trio is completed by the 18-year-old South Tyrolean Magdalena Hafner with her clarinet.
As part of a TV gala broadcast on ORF 2 on Friday, June 2 at 8:15 p.m., they will compete in the final and compete for first place in their category. The winner is determined by a star jury consisting of well-known figures from the classical genre.
