The average fuel price in the Spanish state already exceeds 2 euros per liter The most expensive fuel is unleaded petrol 98, which costs an average of 2,026 euros per liter. A+ diesel is sold for 2,012 euros per litre.
The prices of fossil fuels, which have been rising since April 2020, experienced some curtailment in March, but rose again in May to above 2 euros.
These are the average price of petrol at gas stations in Spain:
Unleaded petrol 98: € 2,026/l
Diesel A+: € 2.012/litre
Diesel A: €1,913/l
Unleaded petrol 95: €1,876/l
After declining in the worst months of the pandemic, the price has not stopped rising since May 2020. This is the evolution over the past two years.
