On Wednesday afternoon, a youth gang attacked an 18-year-old in Vienna-Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus. Soon after, he managed to escape to the nearest police station. At the same time, a police officer entered the police station to report when the victim described the incident. The officer had mistakenly observed the gang of six beforehand and immediately set out to find them.
All six teens had previously brutally punched and kicked the 18-year-old. Shortly after the policeman started looking for the gang, he found what he was looking for near the melting bridge and immediately alerted his colleagues.

Five of the six alleged perpetrators were caught shortly afterwards. The youths are young boys between the ages of twelve and fourteen. They were released and handed over to their legal guardians.
The 18-year-old suffered facial injuries. He was taken to a hospital. The reason for the attack is said to have been a reprimand from the 18-year-old after one of the six teenagers bumped into him.
