The dog escaped from a fenced yard and attacked a 12-year-old at around 7:15 a.m. “The dog bit the boy’s hand, after which the boy was thrown to the ground,” said a police officer.

The 12-year-old’s brother, seeing the attack, screamed for help and tried to drive the dog away. However, this was not possible until the dog owner arrived. “The 12-year-old was seriously injured and was taken to the LKH Villach by the rescue team. A complaint will be filed after further investigation.”
