A pedestrian was run over by a truck in Graz on Friday afternoon and was seriously injured. According to the police, the accident happened at a bus stop on Triesterstrasse.
The 50-year-old pedestrian may have tried to cross the road in front of the truck. There was heavy traffic and convoy traffic at the time of the accident.
Vehicle moved slowly
Witnesses said the truck was moving very slowly. The driver stopped as soon as he noticed the accident. After urgent medical first aid, the pedestrian was taken by the Red Cross to the Graz State Hospital and operated there. He was not heard on Saturday. The investigation into the accident continues.
