In the US state of Louisiana, the police are investigating the mysterious death of an employee of the fast food chain Arby’s. The woman’s body was found in the freezer of a restaurant in the small town of New Iberia. A police officer said in an initial response that the death was “suspicious”.
New Iberia police told local news outlets the body was found around 6:30 p.m. Thursday. No information was given about a possible cause of death or injuries on the bodies of the dead.
Employee discovered the dead
The dead man was an employee of the restaurant “Arby’s”, reports the television channel KADN-TV. An employee of the American fast food chain, whose specialty is roast beef, discovered the woman in the freezer, according to Leland Laseter of the New Iberia Police Department.
Possibly an accident?
However, it does not appear to be a violent crime, “but an accident”, the police said after an initial investigation at the crime scene. However, the knowledge gained is only preliminary and “nothing is set in stone”.
Authorities ordered an autopsy to determine the woman’s cause of death.
