Since a woman from Vienna-Floridsdorf apparently parked her Tesla “unfavorably”, hitherto unknown perpetrators grabbed the key and scratched the driver’s luxury car. But the car scratches were not so strange after all. Footage from the camera in the cabin shows two men in orange suits. These are employees of MA 48.
The 42-year-old owner of the car is angry. Previously, the woman had to torture herself with hate messages that were repeatedly left on her windshield. The reason for the martyrdom is said to have been a reverse parking lot, where our reader reporter from Floridsdorf had repeatedly parked her Tesla.
Tesla driver need not be surprised
“The garbage collection service has to drive here every day and is hindered by you,” said the unknown message left to the “Krone” reader. “So if your car is damaged or towed away, don’t be surprised,” the prosecutors continued in the letter.
But the 42-year-old did not want to let the threats sit on her. Last Thursday, she checked the car’s cabin camera. “I wanted to know who hangs around my car,” the woman explains in an interview with krone.at. An answer was not long in coming. As soon as you press play, two men in orange suits catch your eye. One of them – he had a key in his hand – walked past their luxury car and smashed the left driver’s door. The recordings show that it concerned two garbage collection employees.
“Should that be the most livable city in the world?” asks the 42-year-old angrily. She can’t even park without fear of city officials.
„Of course we want to look at that.”
Krone.at spoke to MA 48 after the incident and informed the city about the incident. However, MA 48 was unaware of the situation. “We have not received any claims,” said MA 48 spokeswoman Nicole Puzsar. Nevertheless, the incident must of course be reported. “Of course we will investigate the matter,” Puzsar emphasizes.
