A woman walked down Favoritenstrasse in Vienna on Tuesday evening looking for a fight. She also promptly struck gold with two young people. During the argument, the “belligerent” stabbed a teenager in the stomach with her knife. After a witness intervened, the perpetrator fled. She is currently wanted by the police.
The stranger spoke to the 14-year-old and a 17-year-old friend near Favoritenstraße around 10:45 p.m. and was clearly looking for trouble. The two girls, who knew the suspect by sight, tried to avoid him, turned and walked away. The perpetrator gave chase to the two and missed the stomach stab at the youngest.
Witness admitted lacerations for interference
After a 20-year-old witness saw the woman stab the youngster, he wanted to intervene and break up the parties to the dispute. The perpetrator bit the witness. He then tried to disarm the girl, resulting in cuts to his hand.
Perpetrator fled
After that, both the unknown woman and the two youths left – the latter wanting to get to safety. The 14 and 17-year-olds then alerted the armed forces of the Vienna Police and the Vienna Professional Rescue Service. The 14 and 20-year-olds were treated on site by the emergency services of the Vienna Professional Rescue Service and taken to a hospital.
An immediately started search yielded nothing. The investigation is progressing well.
