The video made waves around an MA 48 car scratch on Thursday. As the “Krone” reported, an “unfavorably” parked Tesla led to a dispute between the driver and the garbage collection staff. The woman received hate messages and wanted to get to the bottom of the matter.
The car’s camera recorded the incident
Using the camera in the cab, she was able to unmask a man who had scratched the driver’s door with a key. “If the car is touched or a person passes very close to the vehicle, the vehicle automatically saves a recording,” the person concerned explains in an interview with “Krone”. The driver is then given a recording of approximately two minutes showing the incident.
The driver was also able to find out that the perpetrator was a garbage collector. He now struggles with the consequences and deeply regrets his actions. “The person concerned contacted me this morning,” says the woman from Floridsdorf. The MA 48 employee has reported and MA 48 is already aware of the incident.
On Friday, the employee was invited for a meeting with his boss, the driver continued. He now fears for his job and wants to make amends.
