The Basque civil service of Justice joins the state strike indefinitely from today with a follow-up of 44%

Officials believe the ministry has no excuse for not negotiating their demands after accepting those from judges and prosecutors, whose agreement they signed on Tuesday.

Officials from the general bodies of justice in Euskadi started the indefinite strike Convened throughout the Spanish State by the CCOO and CSIF, to denounce the Ministry’s lack of willingness to transfer a salary proposal for this group. This indefinite strike will begin, as indicated by the CCOO, as soon as “negotiations with the judges’ and prosecutors’ associations have been concluded”, so that in his opinion the ministry “has no excuse for not presenting the strike committee with an economic proposal and a commitment on the content of the Organizational Efficiency Law (LOEO) that enables progress in a negotiated resolution to the conflict“.

After reminding that, with this indefinite strike, cases in the courts will suffer “further delays and postponements”, the union regrets that the Ministry of Justice is continuing “without convening a meeting or presenting a proposal to the strike committee permits unlock the current situation“.

The union has extended its demands to the Basque government, which it accuses “wash hands” in this conflict.

Throughout this week there will be rallies and protests all over the state, culminating in an announced demonstration for the May 25 in Madrid. About 43,000 civil servants across the country are being called out to support this strike.
