The 26-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Graz regional hospital after receiving first aid from the Red Cross and an emergency doctor. There, according to the police, he would have undergone emergency surgery or be put into an artificial deep sleep.

In addition to the police, the Labor Inspectorate immediately started an investigation. “According to inside information, the work platform in question could not have been set up properly,” the police said.
