A stranger demanded money from a cashier in a supermarket branch in Vienna-Liesing on Saturday evening. The curious thing is that the weapon he threatened her with was clearly a toy gun.
The presumably last customer pulled out a black pistol shortly before the store closed at 6 p.m. and demanded cash from the cashier. However, the saleswoman immediately recognized that the gun was a toy gun.
She told the man she would call the police now. The suspect then ran out of the store without taking anything.
No injuries
So far, a search for the unknown has not succeeded. The investigation into the suspected attempted robbery is still ongoing. No one was injured in the incident.
