A tragic traffic accident took place in Ludesch (Vorarlberg) on Saturday evening. Two boys traveling on a light motorcycle collided with a car – they received serious injuries.
Around 7.30 pm, a 44-year-old woman drove her car through Ludesch on the Brauentinweg, her 15-year-old son was also in the car. At the intersection with Allmeinteilweg, she stopped briefly before turning onto Auweg, the extension of Brauentinweg.
A collision was unavoidable
Just as she was about to cross the Allmeinteilweg in her car, a 16-year-old motorcyclist from Bludesch, who was sitting in the pillion seat of a 15-year-old friend, approached her. A collision was unavoidable and the two young people were thrown onto the asphalt with full force.

The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries to his leg in the collision – he even lost consciousness for a short time. His passenger was also seriously injured, especially to the pelvis and upper body.
After first aid on site, the two boys were taken by ambulance to Feldkirch State Hospital. However, the woman and her son were unharmed. A breathalyzer test was negative.
