The Klagenfurt fire brigade had to divert to the Welzenegg district on Tuesday evening. A fire broke out in the workshop of a well-known body shop.
“Employees had sounded the alarm,” reports spokesman Wolfgang Germ of the Klagenfurt professional fire brigade. For reasons still unknown, a fire broke out in the Aspernig body shop in Klagenfurt-Welzenegg. “We had to carry out an external and internal attack with heavy respiratory protection. The operation was not without dangers, after all, gas cylinders had to be present in the building,” Germ continues.
The fire brigade was able to quickly contain the fire and prevent worse. Fortunately no one was injured. Control work is currently being carried out with a thermal imaging camera.
