A man was stunned when he found the message in his mailbox. Because of the 24 cents he owes GIS in broadcasting costs, he will soon be able to welcome the executor to his apartment. He probably accidentally transferred the wrong amount to GIS, leaving 0.24 euros by mistake.
“I am considering whether I should have the amount due in 1 cent cash ready,” says the ‘Krone’ reader-reporter, visibly amused and angry at the same time.

The 46-year-old received the letter in the mail on March 30. Because the Viennese lived in his apartment with a Ukrainian family for a while, he only sporadically dropped by the apartment to check the post office. He must have lost the letter in the process.
