The tragic accident happened around 1:30 p.m. Swimmers watched as a man (78) suddenly went down. The swimmer did not call for help, he disappeared completely silently into the water. Those present began to search. But this was not successful.
50 emergency services: Divers found the lifeless body
Meanwhile, the lifeguard has made the emergency call. Three water rescue services from the Kitzbühel district and divers from the Kufstein and Kitzbühel districts left. A total of 50 emergency services were on the scene. After about 30 minutes, the man’s lifeless body was found. The divers recovered the dead 78-year-old. Police have ruled out third-party liability in the accident.
