Yesterday afternoon a call came in from a boat, with no specific position. At about 10 p.m., the Maritime Lifeboat rescued it 48 persons those in the wares first boat, and then moved to the position of second. At around 11 p.m., he rescued the 49 persons who were on board: 39 men, 4 women and 8 children.
Another boat rescued yesterday Saturday was searched without interruption by the Maritime Rescue Coordination Center in Las Palmas since Friday evening until it was finally found south of the island of Tenerife yesterday morning. Minutes later, the rescue unit began the approach maneuver and proceeded to rescue it 53 people on board, including women and children.
As for the other vessel, the rescue center in Las Palmas received a message from the Guardia Civil shortly before 09:00 informing them of another possible boat, and at 12:00 they proceeded to rescue the vessels. 52 people who were on board: 47 men and 5 women.
Likewise, around 9:20 p.m. on Friday, they rescued others 35 people who were on board another boat, including five children. Once on land, the rescued migrants were assisted by health personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) and Red Cross volunteers. All were in good health.
