No evidence found – investigation into Lead Horizon founders closed

Date:

The Vienna public prosecutor’s office has closed the investigation against the founder and majority shareholder of the supplier of Corona test kits Lead Horizon, Michael Putz. This was announced by authority spokeswoman Nina Bussek on Wednesday afternoon. The entire set of procedures reported is affected by the setting.

“The suspicion could not be confirmed by the investigations,” Bussek said on Wednesday. As a result, the proceedings pursuant to § 190 number 2 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (StPO) were discontinued, as there was no factual reason for further prosecution of the suspect.

Based on a complaint against Putz, the prosecution had investigated possible breaches of trust, falsification of documents and evidence and a possible violation of the Association Responsibility Act.

Putz and his legal representative Günther Rebisant have scheduled a press conference for the prosecutor’s ruling this Friday. During this meeting they want to speak extensively about the issue.
